Robert Parker, Senior Advisor, Credit Suisse

Robert Parker is Senior Advisor to Credit Suisse and is a member of the Credit Suisse Investment Committee. He also has responsibility for the management and development of new business and client relationships for Credit Suisse. Robert started his career in Corporate Finance in France in 1973 and then became a member of the Foreign Exchange and Fixed Income Investment Team at NM Rothschild & Sons in 1976. He joined the Credit Suisse Group in 1982 and was responsible for Multi-currency Fixed Income Investment Management until the mid 1990’s when he became Chief Executive of the European business. From 1998 until 2009, he was Vice Chairman of the Asset Management business globally.
Robert chairs the Asset Management and Investors Council, is on the board of the International Capital Markets Association and is a member of the Advisory Council of the UK CFA Society. He received his B.A and M.A in Economics from the University of Cambridge
